 Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker (RSW) 

 Location: Derby DE3 
 
Salary: £33,795– £35,795p.a (INCLUSIVE of sleep-in allowance and complex care allowance). 

Contract: Full time, permanent.

As part of our commitment to delivering outstanding care, we are working towards DDP (Dyadic Developmental Practice) accreditation, further embedding trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches across our homes. 

The Role:
We're looking for caring, resilient, and motivated individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers. 
You'll play a vital role in supporting young people to overcome challenges, develop life skills, achieve their goals, and build positive memories. Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help create a stable and supportive home environment where young people can thrive. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build positive relationships with young people
  • Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
  • Support education, hobbies, and personal development
  • Encourage independence and teach life skills
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work alongside colleagues and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
  • Act as a positive role model

What We're Looking For:
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Passion for supporting children and young people.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with children and/or a Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and safer recruitment checks.
